Fighter

While researching a little for a photoshoot i have planned to feature in the Fixation magazine, I met someone who is rather into the Wrestling and cat or sex fighting scene in SL. We chatted a little and despite my misgivings - I have no desire to be beaten to a bloody pulp, nor inflict that on anyone else for that matter, I relented and agreed to a match in which she would go easy with me.

It is fair to say that it was rather enjoyable, and it is entirely possible that in the not too distant future I may step back int othe ring. But first I need to plot some more dirty moves - and to win these, you really do have to fight dirty with everything you have.

Break the Silence

It's been a while since I posted here - and it's not because I can't be bothered, or that I'm dead or anything (yet anyway) it's just that lately, I haven't been feeling up to it - a few things in RL have affected my mood, and much as I try, the enthusiasm just isn't there at the moment. I know it's only temporary, and when I find something I like a lot and sink my teeth into - the phase will well and truly be over. But I just wanted y'all (if anyone who might read this counts as all?) to know I lost my groove, but am working on geting back into it. And soon.

Lifestyles of the Almost Rich and Almost Famous

I have spent almost all day - thanks to the lovely Scooter Debevec - sailing around parts of sl and I think I almost now have the hang of it - whilst I wont pretend a motor boat isn't easie, there is some satisfaction from working hard to maintain the sails correctly. Watch this space for news of me drowning or missing at sea. And once I had figured I had drunk enough salt water to last a lifetime, I drove home in the classic Porsche 550 Spyder from 1953. Oh and found the boat of my dreams - it's not cheap so - It's my next dream possesion.

I want to say a big huge thanks to all those close to me that make my time in SL so enjoyable.

Photo Crazy

Lately I seem to be spending a fortune in LS, simply because I think it might make a great photoset. and now that the timing belt on my real life car has snapped, I have no spare cash to direct into SL for a while - and so - rather than go shopping, I am taking photos with a view to including them in the magazine. And even if they dont make it - I have uploaded a few to my Flickr site anyway.

But just for - in case none of the other photos were a taster enough - here's a couple I took today before I head off to bed.

I'm still working on ideas, themes, and content for the magzine, which I am determined to at least try to publish. It will probably be the biggest flop in SL history, bu ttat least I will have had fun trying to make it - which is why the idea is taking so long to come to fruition. I confess, I do enjoy posing for the photos, and working with the photographers to try and get the best pose and angle where possible, and I often find myself buying items in SL purely with the intent to wear it for a photoshoot - and quite possibly never to use it again.

But at least that is fun. I'm pleased to announce that Warren Ochs of Imagenations photo studio has agreed to assit - and by assist, I practially mean do everything but model for me :). and that Mika, my current photographer will still take photos too. MistressVictoria whom I have struck up a very special friendship with has also agreed to come on board with ideas for photoshoots, and help with other content for the mag. After all, it cant all be just photos of me. Well it could but I doubt it would have any broad appeal at all then.

Anyway, if you have ideas, themes, topics, or locations for shoots, or fancy taking some photos yourself and require a model - drop me an IM in world and we'll see what we can do... and it might even make a future issue of Fixation - if it happens.

Killing time I took a few photos for a set I was planning to feature in the Magazine if i ever manage to get my head around photo editing. And damn if I'm not struggling on that!

Yes it's true - in case anyone reads this - I am still here and despite it being a quiet summer, most of my activities have been reasonably quiet. I finally settled on a name for the impending project of a fetish and glamour magazine - Fixations - and have been taking a few photos of potential sets which will eventually appear in the magazine.

Don't hold your breath though as I really am hopeless with photo and graphics packages, and am seriously considering bringing in outside help.
