Ok, I know I have let things go quiet here a bit of late, and for that I apologise. I have been focusing on a few other things, and let's be honest, unless you want to read about how many times I changed my avatar's underwear each day, most of the time I have little to post. Few groundbreaking or earth shattering evets happen.
Sorry, but I really am quite a dull person :)
That said, yesterday, I had a serious arguement with one of my closest RL friends, when a lot of things were said that were hurtful to both parties. I was evil, spiteful, and looking back, yes, even ugly. And I let my temper get the better of me, something I rarely ever do now I have matured a little. Sadly, yesterday that temper scaped unchecked, and resulted in me losing it in such a way I put my foot through a glass pane on my home's front door.
I was lucky, as I was wearing rather sturdy shoes which protected my foot, the door however was not quite so lucky, and so now, I find that I now have to spring for a glazier to fix it. So what benefit did losing my temper gain me?
In short, the answer is nothing. I almost lost my closest and dearest RL friend. I now have the added expense of having to get the door fixed. And because of my own stupid pride, found myself walking to work, rather than sharing the car with my friend. Needless to say a journey that usually takes me 5 minutes by car, took a lot longer this morning, and now I also have blisters.
Thankfully, my friend and I finally put this stupid spat behind us a few hours ago, and we are again the closest of friends. The air between us has cleared a little after slowly building friction over a period of time, and I have accepted that until they can find a new car, they can continue to borrow mine (they work further away from my home than I do - so it seemed fair).
It turns out that just because I say something is fine, it doesn't mean it is. I hate being a passenger in my own car, that still remains true, and we both now are fully aware of it. But friends stick together, and so I will just try to be better than I was yesterday, and wait it out untill they get a new car.
Untill then, I suppose I will be a little grouchy.
So, don;t make me angry, you won't like me when I'm angry... and neither will your front door.

3rd post
I'm afraid things have been a little quiet here, as I have been writing and planning out future posts for the SL fetish Fashion Blog. I'm still a little humbled at having been asked to feature as a writer, as I have been following that blog for some time, even having made one or two purchases based on the reviews there.
And yet, here I am, now 3 posts into a serialisation of pony play in SL, with many more still to follow.]]Keep checking back there for more - and not just on the pony play - everything featured on the Fetish Fashion Blog is a worthy, and humorous, entertaining read.
And don't worry, I haven't forgotten to post things on my own blog - it's just taking a break while I gather insperation for future photoshoots.

Pony Correspondant
Yesterday I was privilaged enough to have the first part in a serialised feature on pony play within Second Life. Whilst this is,for me, a more personal expose than anything, I hope that it might help to re-energise the pony scene.
Any mistakes, errors, or differences of opinions are my own, and I would welcome any feedback - so long as it remains non abusive - to fill in any gaps there might be for anyone else that reads it.
So head over to the SL Fetish Fashion link on the side bar to read more.

Decisions, decisions..

I have been considering for a while now, and I still do not know which way to go.I have been fascinated by the latex dolls, and for over a year have been considering whether to join their ranks or not. I feel that the amount of time that I should devote to something like the dolls, might be more than I can reasonably put in, which is the reason for my lenghty hesitation. I might consider another dolls group, if anyone can reccomend one, perhaps with a little less strict uniform requirement o less rules.
Similarly, another long time fascination of mine has recently resurface, and again, my lenghty hesitation is the amount of time that would need to be devoted to it. And that is the way of th geisha. Should I pick up where I left off a long time ago, and re commence training as a geisha?
Both the latex dolls and geisha are of considerable interest to me, but perhaps, a more relaxed and less formal way to both is what I need.
And untill such time as something presents itself, I will no doubt be tussling with this for a while to come.

Happy Easter

The photos are from my most recent photoshoot, using the character Selene from the Underworld series of movies. I had to include the obligatory butt shot for you guys. I have to confess, myself and Mika are running out of inspired ideas for shoots, so if anyone as any cool and workable ideas, please let me kno. And if we go for your idea, I will try to time it so you can sit in on the shoot, or even take part too.
If not, well, we can work something out for you. Probably. I still haven't managed to get my head around how to edit photos an layer them, so that I can use multiple photos on one page with text to upload into Second Life as a magazine page.
If anyone wants that job for me - let me know too - I'd appreciate it and who knos, it might be a way into virtual journalism for us. :). Who knows?

So.. what's new?

Ok so far I really haven't really told you much of anything interesting, so I figure, why break the habit now?
Truth be told, I have been suffering from the blogger's eqivalent of writer's block, and without any real knowledge of how to layer pics in photoshop or paintshop, my magazine idea has fallen to the wayside. Plus there is also the issue of writing articles and whatnot. Some of this comes with ease to some people, and others, like me for exam, just suck at creating. It seems my role in SL is to tell others "hey, you know what would be cool?" and let them go about putting it into production. And that's fine with me. Except I dont get rich off that :)
So - for those of you that do currently have an active imagination, drop me a line telling me what you want to see inSL that you so far have't found. If I find it for you - that's great. But if I dont - I'll see if I can find someone to make it.
And if you have any ideas for a magazine style photoshoot - let me have those too. And if you are online when we shoot it - you get invited along too.

Anniversary

I hadn't even realised until it was pointed out to me yesterday that I have now been blogging for a whole year. I have to say, the time has flown. And what have I learned in that year?
I have learned that no matter how inconceivable the idea is for an object in SL, you can bet someone else has already made it. And if not - if you are patient, and ask around, someone will most likely make it for you, if you are not feeling upto making it yourself. I have also learned that no matter how much you try - there does come a time when the multitude of shops, stores and malls in SL cease to seem to have anything new or inspiring to sell to you. And that just when you give up all hope, someone makes a suggestion, or you see something that sparks that "Oh god yes! I just have to get me one of them!" kind of reactions. The biggst issue is then if you can get it at an affordable price.
And that no matter how obscure a fetish, kink, quirk or whatever - if you search hard enough, there is a home for it in SL. Or maybe several homes.
But the most impotant thing is - Second Life is full of some of the most wonderful people. Sure - some are total assholes, but you walk down any street in real life and tell me there isn't at least one asshole there too. And at least, in SL, anyone that has been here more than a month looks great!
