Slow Down

It's been a while, and I am sorry for that, if anyone reads this regularly enough to notice. I have had a few things in real life to distract me, and let's face it, this time of year, Second Life isn't quite the bustling place it can be.
I have been putting in the hours as a pony girl, and am now getting reasonably good times on slalom and steeple, and have been enjoying some dressage too. And helping a few newer ponies also. See? I'm not all self.
Anyway, just to show you I really am still alive, and not posting this while locked in some dungeon at gunpoint here's a pic of me in one of my other fetishes, traditional dress or costumes from around the world. And yes, that is the Taj Mahal in the background. Modelling is such a glamourous life (virtually :))

It's been a while - but I'm still here

I know I have been quiet for a while - but I haven't had much to write about - I fell for someone breifly - in that way we all too easily do - but it didn't work out, so I'm back where I was before. I still have my loved ones in SL, though sadly, the times together are often all too short each time. And its those in between times I sometimes find myself wanting. I am grateful for those I call friends, yeah you know who you are ;). And all those near misses - well - i still love ya anyway.

But it's cool, because Morbid Designs are close to completing a new pony play bridle - and I am fortunate enough to have been testing it. And even though it's not yet finished, I love it already.. as a taster, here's a pic of me in tack - including the new bridle.

On a side note - I am also penning a ponygirl story though at this stage - whether it will be turned into a photostory in my long running yet stalled project magazine, or will just gather dust as a notecard, I dont yet know. Time will tell.

Fighter

While researching a little for a photoshoot i have planned to feature in the Fixation magazine, I met someone who is rather into the Wrestling and cat or sex fighting scene in SL. We chatted a little and despite my misgivings - I have no desire to be beaten to a bloody pulp, nor inflict that on anyone else for that matter, I relented and agreed to a match in which she would go easy with me.

It is fair to say that it was rather enjoyable, and it is entirely possible that in the not too distant future I may step back int othe ring. But first I need to plot some more dirty moves - and to win these, you really do have to fight dirty with everything you have.

Break the Silence

It's been a while since I posted here - and it's not because I can't be bothered, or that I'm dead or anything (yet anyway) it's just that lately, I haven't been feeling up to it - a few things in RL have affected my mood, and much as I try, the enthusiasm just isn't there at the moment. I know it's only temporary, and when I find something I like a lot and sink my teeth into - the phase will well and truly be over. But I just wanted y'all (if anyone who might read this counts as all?) to know I lost my groove, but am working on geting back into it. And soon.

Lifestyles of the Almost Rich and Almost Famous

I have spent almost all day - thanks to the lovely Scooter Debevec - sailing around parts of sl and I think I almost now have the hang of it - whilst I wont pretend a motor boat isn't easie, there is some satisfaction from working hard to maintain the sails correctly. Watch this space for news of me drowning or missing at sea. And once I had figured I had drunk enough salt water to last a lifetime, I drove home in the classic Porsche 550 Spyder from 1953. Oh and found the boat of my dreams - it's not cheap so - It's my next dream possesion.

I want to say a big huge thanks to all those close to me that make my time in SL so enjoyable.

Photo Crazy

Lately I seem to be spending a fortune in LS, simply because I think it might make a great photoset. and now that the timing belt on my real life car has snapped, I have no spare cash to direct into SL for a while - and so - rather than go shopping, I am taking photos with a view to including them in the magazine. And even if they dont make it - I have uploaded a few to my Flickr site anyway.

But just for - in case none of the other photos were a taster enough - here's a couple I took today before I head off to bed.

I'm still working on ideas, themes, and content for the magzine, which I am determined to at least try to publish. It will probably be the biggest flop in SL history, bu ttat least I will have had fun trying to make it - which is why the idea is taking so long to come to fruition. I confess, I do enjoy posing for the photos, and working with the photographers to try and get the best pose and angle where possible, and I often find myself buying items in SL purely with the intent to wear it for a photoshoot - and quite possibly never to use it again.

But at least that is fun. I'm pleased to announce that Warren Ochs of Imagenations photo studio has agreed to assit - and by assist, I practially mean do everything but model for me :). and that Mika, my current photographer will still take photos too. MistressVictoria whom I have struck up a very special friendship with has also agreed to come on board with ideas for photoshoots, and help with other content for the mag. After all, it cant all be just photos of me. Well it could but I doubt it would have any broad appeal at all then.

Anyway, if you have ideas, themes, topics, or locations for shoots, or fancy taking some photos yourself and require a model - drop me an IM in world and we'll see what we can do... and it might even make a future issue of Fixation - if it happens.

Still here

Yes it's true - in case anyone reads this - I am still here and despite it being a quiet summer, most of my activities have been reasonably quiet. I finally settled on a name for the impending project of a fetish and glamour magazine - Fixations - and have been taking a few photos of potential sets which will eventually appear in the magazine.

Don't hold your breath though as I really am hopeless with photo and graphics packages, and am seriously considering bringing in outside help.

Absense makes the heart grow - wilder!

I know it has been a while again since I posted here - if I thought more than 1 or 2 people who see me regularly enough in SL actually noticed, I might feel bad about it - but the truth is I had been busy posing, modelling and begging for freebies of the pony hooves that are featured in some of the other photos posted here on this blog.
And of course, I had to make a special request or 6 for a few other items, which the kind designer of Morbid Studios has patiently agreed to give a go to.

So - just to let you know I haven't really been totally idle, here are a few new photos.

Fetish for Fashion

Just a quick photo - when I have some quiet time - i like to find a nice, quiet spot and wear something from my inventory I havent worn in a while.

And so here is the white Victorian bustle dress from Reasonable Desires, set against the church and school on the left of the photo, at Alphavile.

If anyone has a soft spot for the victorian era, then Alphaville must be on your list of places to visit.

Ponygirl

Seeing as how ponyplay plays a large part of my time in SL, here is a pic of me in the Frilly Filly Farm uniform, using the CCP bridle and sporting the new FFF colors hooves from Morbid Designs.

Though I spend most of my time there out of my tack as a trainer, it's nice to let someone else take the reins once in a while, and I really reccomend it for any prospective new pony.

All quiet

Ok I'll be the first to admit things have been pretty quiet here - but that's only because I have been lacking anything noteworthy to post.

so just to let you all know I am still alive and well and kicking in SL - here's a little photo of me in the Hot pink Latex catsuit from BugShit and hooves by Morbid Designs, Hatch harness also from Morbid designs.

Just for the record, it did rain yesterday, first thing on the morning and again late last night - and rain is predicted today too. So there it is - England really is as wet as they make it look in the movies.

Ok several days ago Head Stable Mistress of Frilly Filly Farm for ponygirls and boys promoted me to a senior trainer, a fact I am particularly proud of and pleased with.
It was after all ponyplay that first brought SL to my attention. More on that later.

In case you ever wondered - part 2

Well it's been a week since my last post, and I can confirm there has been only 2 dry days in that time. But it could have rained while I was sleeping. So there you go, England really is a wet spot on the globe.

Just in case you ever wondered, it's true. It really does rain in England as much as TV and the movies would have you think. To proove it, the last three days it had rained - not constantly, in fact there have even been moments when the sun has been out. But it later rained.
I intend to keep you updated on the rain situation.

Maybe not in teh common meaning of the word fetish. Kinky then? Perhaps not either. But being walking wardrobe is to me a fetish, I have to have everything I can get my hands on, slutty, sexy, kinky, wild or just plain different makes it a must have for me - and that is my real fetish. Bondage and the more common ideas for fetish wear are perhaps better described as kinks for me. So now you know.

Ok so I slept a fair bit this weekend to catchup with the loss of sleep due to my SL addiction, so not much happened.
I spent a few more lindens, and acquired a few more outfits, but didn't really do much.
Oh, and I went dancing with a friend - it has been a while since I went ballroom dancing.
One thing I noticed was how so many go to a formal ballroom, yet do not dress the part.
I love to dress up - that is perhaps my biggest fetish - and it saddens me that so many turn up to ballroom dance in jeans and t shirt.
C'mon guys - make the effort - it is so much nicer if you do - for all concerned

A bit more about me

Here is a rare snap of me in pony tack, hitched to a cart at Alphaville, a Victorian themed D/s community in SL. Just in case you wandered.

While I am not exactly rushed, here is one of me and my sub Mika relaxing in the pool at our home. And why not? it's a slow news day after all.

So My fetishes - rubber and latex, ponyplay - D/s but mainly restraint and bondage play.
Shopping too - not a kink but its a fetish when its done like I can do it sometimes.
Other things in SL too vague or rarely if ever participated in but I wont rule it out either if it takes my fancy at the time - including neko and or furry.

I also like my toys - no not them toys - well them too :) but I meant cars, bikes, planes, boats etc.

So I know that tells you nothing really but hey - what did you expect? My life laid totally out for you guys? Voyeurs - pffft!

You got a friend in me

Another day passed in SL with little of anything of consequence happening. Still no magazine as I really just dont have the artistic talents, or the patience yet. But then that might be because I am feeling tired a lot in Real Life. It's always good to speak to friends in SL, and the social part of that is perhaps it's biggest draw for me - and why the Bane test was so hard.
So a big shout out to my contacts that spoke to me today in SL *waves* Thanks for being on my friends list. Sometimes, no matter how hard I try to amuse myself and not become a stalker - it's those friends that really make the difference.
When rules, requirements, drama, bull and all that other stuff is getting too much, few things are more fun than just hanging out with someone - be they slave, ponygirl, Mistress or even a neko. And to go shoe shopping with a friend really makes my day. And it was a day of totally non fetish-y things because I just couldnt be bothered. So once again, thanks to my loyal subbies - I love ya, and to friends old and new - and especially to the shoe genie - I'd like to say "Cheers mom, for keeping me up an hour later than I planned to".

Apologies to the Linden Gods

Ok maybe I was a bit hasty and testy yesterday - SL finally works for me, though not sure if it is something SL did, or whether my removal of just about every program from my Pc and reinstallation worked. The support ticket I sent to SL about my log in issues came back saying my account had been suspended but this was clearly not the case - my SL simply was not detecting their server. Maybe the UK was the last place brought back online?

No matter, I'm back and despite the new viewer being a littlel more heavy on my broadband speed and therefore things take longer to rez, it is a much more detailed world.

And I found some cheap but pleasantly effective studio lights to use in my photostudio at my home - and uploaded a photo (yes that worked too!) to celebrate.

I also have the ThinK magazine printing press in preparation for this magazine idea, I now simply need motivation, perhaps some ideas or even a shoot director, and someone to spend countless hours trimming photos to one page in photoshop - though I may yet do this myself - if it's not too tricky. My artistic skills could be best described as non existant.

In any event - watch this space.

Darned SL

Well I would love to say i have had a great day in SL, but like most addicts of this alternate life, It has been a frustrating day to say the least.

Just because my real life has given me the oppotunity to spend most of my day here at my PC, I haven't been able to do anything.

Fate is such a cruel Mistress sometimes.

So far my plans for my fetish and D/s magazine have taken a back seat, mainly because I lack a good posestand packed full of the more interesting poses. Something that I had planned to at least partially rectify today. I also had hoped to fish around a little more for a latex Supergirl costume for a photoshoot I have been wanting to do for some time, so far my best price quoted has been L$4000, which I consider a little too high for use in just the one or maybe a handful of shoots.

Any offers? :)

Latest cooky idea

Ok so for those that know me well enough, this isnt exactly a new new idea of mine, but it's something that's been bouncing around in my head for a while now.
Quite simply I am in the process of maybe putting together a magazine in SL, using a whole reel of camera film to showcase a particular outfit and/or accesories (Picture afull latex outfit, worn by a super hot model *me* :), being photographed from every available angle, slowly undressing then being locked into restraints and bundled into a cage to finish, with comments to describe the outfit, seller. Add to that hopefully interviews with some of SL's top fetish and D/s designers, interviews with a fetish diva *:)* and suggestions from SL's finest readers of said magazine as to what outfits or accesories they would like to see their fetish diva and friends photographed in/on/around.
add to that if it gains enough momentum and support, guest models, photographers, maybe a reader's pic section and so on.
Sadly, I still cant figure out why my photos are not uploading from my hard drive to anything -no grahics program seems to recognise them, so I may need help from any budding artists looking to amuse themselves for a while by editing photos, any aspiring photographers looking to get into the press (who knows - it MIGHT happen?). Sadly, this is ahobby not a profession, so i wont be able to pay, god knows it costs enough to get the nicest clothes and toys but perhaps if things work out - we might get sponsers. And no way I can do this on my own, so, if you can help, let me know.

Still quiet - sort of

Ok well the house is just about finished - though I thought that yesterday. SL keeps throwing up really cool thins and there is always en element of "I gotta get that!" So for about the umpteenth time now, I think the house tha my subs and I have created for ourselves (well, bought really thanks to the wonderful variety of designers in SL) is once again about complete. Terraforming is way harder than I expected - so I may be looking for a landscape gardener - anyone interested?
Which hopefully will give me a little time to focus on what I really want from SL. Besides the harmless distraction of escape from reality - and the hungry wolves (creditors) circling or camped within sight of my front door, and the sad fact that I am still only young ( Im not yet 30 - so that's still young, right?)and have a kid that knows more about the real world than I do (well he thinks he does anyway), SL is my outlet - It is cheaper to spend a few hours in SL than it is to get a babysitter in and go to a club or bar for a few hours - then spend that time quilty about having left my kid with a stranger. And given some of my shopping sprees, perhaps it isnt actually cheaper after all. Ok I may have to think that one through a little more.
Ponygirls - that was what brought me to SL in the first place, and during my time here so far has always been bubbling under the surface for me. I sa a picture taken in SL on the Sir Jeff's ponygirl website - see my links - and that brought me to SL where I spent some cash getting tack, then became a stable Mistress at a Victorian BDSM sim. So no need for my own tack. It's quiet there - but one of the most wonderful places to visit. And after a breif absense from pony play, I became both pony and a trainer at Frilly Filly Farm. Some of the best trainers and ponies in SL have passed through that sim - and Im glad some of those are now on my friends list.

All quiet

Yes I had noticed it's been a few days since my last entry, but since no one is reading or commenting, not sure it's really even worth bothering. Just kidding. I've been busy as my sub and long time friend in SL and previous chat programs bought a plot of land, and we have been busy setting up home, dragging a few helpful friends and my loved SL family into help with landscaping and ideas.

I have no idea if you are aware of this - but finding nice quality, low budget low prim furniture is not as easy as you might think. Especially when I see something different - I can't help myself - I am a shopoholic with a serious compulsive disorder.

Chilled

Spent most of the day in RL with my kid - well it is Easter Sunday! Not really feeling too bothered about doing anything at all - lazy day today.

Last night before I went to bed i did get back into the Bane suit and set the timer for half an hour - after 5 minutes I switched viewers and cheated out of it - I guess I just needed a fix.

Got to get something resolved with uploading photos.

Comedown

Strangely, I have not yet full comedown from my short banishment, and am very tempted to climb back into the suit for a while - perhaps that has become my security blanket, or it maybe that It's a holiday weekend and most people are offline. And so I have focused on getting to grips with photography in SL, with varying degrees of success. It's tricky to find the right combination of pose, lighting and outfit not to mention backgrounds for the couple of photostudios in my collection. Plus I am hunting SL for a latex supergirl c ostume with so far, no success. More annoying is that most of the pictures i have taken so far do not seem to want to upload into this blog. File size or format perhaps. Something for me to look into when I can be bothered.

No longer Ban(e)ished

Well, my time as a beta tester for Marine Kelley, of the Real Restraints brand fame is complete without any major mishaps. My Pc crashed once, but I suspect that was more to do with me running too much in the background to keep myself busy than anything else. So I should be happy to be free once more you ask? Well, yes and no - yep you guessed it - I am ambiguous at best. My problem is I want my cake and to eat it without gaining an ounce of weight.
On one hand, it's not as easy as you might think to amuse yourself for almost 10 hours being unable to interract. I suppose I cheated a little by logging in to an empty sim and leaving my pc running while i did things away from my PC, but - being totally cut off is not a bad thing - it let me try to figure out why I am having such trouble uploading SL photos to the blog - and gave me time to write this much.
So am I eager to get back into the suit? No... well maybe - but I really think without someone holding my hand the whole time, I wouldnt last 10 hours again. (Looking once more at the Bane suit) but if nothing else, I have a new set of pyjamas.

Bane - 3 and half hours left

So, almost 7 hours into the bane test, how do I feel about it? Well....
I hate it!
No.. wait... I love it!
Ok let me clarify - as a Switch - I enjoy at times being Dominant, other times, I am submissive, yet still other times, I am about as vanilla as.. say vanilla flavour ice cream.. so it's pretty fair to say I am mixed up abou this kind of thing.
As a Dominant, I hate the restrictions - the punishments for trying to do anything the rest of SL takes for granted. The worst part of being banished is the fact that you are free to go anywhere, but there is no point. Try it out if you get a chance and see what I mean. Yet it is fair to say being in SL jail is probably more free - despite being in a cell almost all the time. And yet as a Dominant, if pulls me away from those "Mistress may I...." and such - so it is also like a vacation. Freeing yet, not free. Complex? Yeah I got a migraine just thinking that too.
As a sub, the amount of restrictions placed on you are mouth watering. Truly - and maybe wet more than just the mouth. :)
I love the fact the suit punishes you for everything - except farting - but even that's no fun in a latex suit. But as a sub, I also hate the fact that you are free to wander aimlessly. That's like an anti-prison, right?
And that is the point of the bane project - you are free, yet not free, captive, but not a captive. It does make you appreciate even the most breif of human contact and understanding so much more though. And the finial product prmises even more head twisters.
So - am I eager to get out? Yes.. uhm.. no. Yes. I don't know. Ask me again in..oh... 3 more hours.

Bane

Just started to beta test Marine Kelly's Bane suit - so sorry but no contact from me in SL for a couple of days - and don't bother to ask about features - if i could say anything in SL, i wouldn't - am sworn to secrecy. Am trying to get a picture uploaded - but I seem to have hidden the file that the photos save to - so Im having a hard time finding them on my hard drive, so please, be patient.

Blog Virgin

This is my first effort at a blog, and most likely it won't last, but who knows? Maybe it will.
For the record, I'm a single mother of a six year old, living in the UK. Not going to give much more about real life, except to say that rather than blow a fortune on drinks and babysitters, I live my life in Second Life - it's cheaper and mostly more fun too.
